What mixing covers here
Mixing balances levels, panning, EQ, dynamics, and effects so every element sits in its lane without masking drums or swallowing vocals. You can supply references from streaming playlists so loudness and tone stay anchored to releases you already enjoy: not anonymous presets from an unnamed chain.
If stems arrive from our Evans House sessions or another studio, we align naming and sample rates before the first balance pass so nobody wastes time reconverting session folders mid-project.
Mastering before distribution
Mastering polishes the stereo mix for loudness consistency across tracks and prepares masters suited to your release targets. Flag alternate masters early: for example instrumental pairs or vinyl-side sequencing , because loudness and limiting choices diverge once those decisions settle.
Turnaround and revision rounds are agreed when you book so Cheshire artists juggling day jobs know exactly how many passes sit inside the quoted envelope.
Send us your stems
Export consolidated WAV stems at the sample rate you tracked, label buses plainly (vocals, drums, bass, music bed), and leave headroom on the master bus so downstream limiting stays musical rather than salvaging clipped prints.
Note tuning edits, vocal comps, or mute automation you still expect: ambiguity slows recalls once balances tighten. Send stems via WeTransfer, Google Drive, or Dropbox: share a download link when you enquire and we confirm delivery details for larger projects.
