What you get that a home setup cannot give you
The single biggest difference is acoustic treatment. A treated room stops early reflections colouring what the microphone captures, which is why home vocal takes often sound boxy no matter how good the mic is.
The second is honest monitoring. Decisions you make on speakers in a treated space translate when the track leaves the room, so you spend less time fixing a mix that only worked on your headphones.
Who books the room
Solo artists tracking vocals over instrumentals, producers finishing arrangements, songwriters capturing demos with a collaborator at the keyboard, and podcasters recording dialogue with one or two guests.
Tell us your format when you book so the microphone and headphone counts are ready before you arrive. That is the difference between starting on time and spending your first half hour patching.
Rates without a quote chase
Dry hire is £15/hr, engineer sessions are £30/hr, and the minimum is two hours. Mixing £60/song, mastering £40/song, album bundle £300. All rates are on the pricing page.
We publish rates because chasing a quote for studio time is a waste of everybody’s evening. You should be able to work out what a session costs before you message anyone.
Where we are and how to get here
Evans House, Unit HL1, Norman St, Warrington, WA2 7HW, with free on site parking. Warrington Central is roughly ten minutes by car and the M62 and M6 are both close.
Booking confirmation includes the access notes for the building, so you are not standing outside working out which door to use on your first visit.

- Is there a music studio near me I can hire by the hour?
- Yes. We hire by the hour from £15 with a two hour minimum, rather than selling day rates or memberships. Book online or message us on WhatsApp.
- Do you have a minimum booking?
- Two hours. It gives you time to set up, get a proper take and export your files without rushing the last twenty minutes.
- Can I look round before I book?
- Yes. Message us and we will arrange a time to show you the room and talk through what your session needs.
- Is parking really free?
- Yes, on site and included. It is one of the reasons a session here often works out cheaper overall than an equivalent city centre room.
