Plenty of studios are set up to record and then move you out. This room is set up so you can actually work: run your own DAW, patch hardware in, build the arrangement and print stems in the same session.
You bring the laptop and licences, we provide the treated room, interface, monitoring, microphones and cabling. Nothing about the setup assumes you need somebody sitting next to you.
Hourly hire changes how you plan a project
Day rates push you into booking time you will not use, then rushing because the clock is expensive. Hourly hire lets you take four hours for vocals this week and three for overdubs next week.
It also means you can stop when the take is right rather than filling the day, and put the saved budget into mixing instead.
What a typical production session looks like
Load in and line check, then capture. Most producers work through vocal comps and overdubs, tidy the arrangement while the ideas are fresh, then export stems before they leave.
If you want someone managing takes, cue mixes and gain staging so you can concentrate on the performance, book the engineer rate instead. The room and the gear are identical.

Dry hire £15/hr, engineer £30/hr, two hour minimum. Mixing £60/song, mastering £40/song on the pricing page.
Access matches your booked window and can run overnight when the calendar allows. You leave with WAV stems, not a promise to send them over later.

- Can I hire a production studio without an engineer?
- Yes. Dry hire at £15/hr is exactly that: the room, the monitoring and the signal chain, run by you in your own DAW.
- Can I bring my own hardware?
- Yes. Bring synths, controllers or outboard and we will make sure there is patching and desk space ready. Mention it when you book so the setup is waiting.
- How long should I book for a production session?
- Four hours suits most vocal and overdub sessions with time to export. Two hours works for a focused single track session. Longer blocks cost less per hour.
- Do you mix what I record here?
- We can. Mixing £60/song and mastering £40/song are on the pricing page, and you are equally welcome to take your stems to your own mixer.
